To remove the password protection, go to the App Lock tab, select Evernote and press the delete key. You can use the same tool and follow a similar process to protect other apps, individually or in batch. The Evernote app for Windows has a function called PIN Lock, which lets you password lock the app.
Open Evernote desktop app on your Windows PC and log in to your account. Now Evernote desktop is protected by the passphrase. If you exit the app or close the window, the next time you try to access it, you will be asked to enter the passphrase.
